Indications:

• Skin and soft tissue infection due to susceptible GPC

Adverse Reactions:

• Nausea, vomiting
• Infusion reactions

Comments:

• Very long half life - single 1200 mg IV dose
• May artificially prolong PT, PTT
• Active against MRSA, E. faecalis
• No data for indications other than skin infections
• Expensive
